Sea kayaking is a wonderful way to explore stunning parts of the Irish coast. The views and conditions are always changing and the only way to explore the sea is with a guide who will ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.

Riverbend Adventures guides and instructors are Canoeing Ireland qualified and will judge the weather and water conditions to match your ability.

Trips are planned to suit the weather so the start location will be chosen a day or so before the trip is taking place and on occasions a river may be chosen if the sea conditions are unsuitable.

Neptune (Sea God) is not predictable so it may be necessary to change venues on the morning or even cancel to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Locations vary from Tramore, Dunmore East, Bunmahon and more

  • Beginner sea kayaking classes
  • Half day tours for novice kayakers.
  • Day tours for experienced level 2 kayakers.
  • Day tours for experienced level 3 kayakers.
  • Rough water training on river Barrow or Nore in sea kayaks
  • Longer tours on the Irish coast, equipment can be provided.
  • Cost: 1 day paddling with equipment provided €100.00.
